I have been shooting high-end video for
broadcast and corporate clients for over twenty years. I'm fortunate that my work has exposed me to a broad range of topics
and brought me to many far-flung locations. Along the way I've learned a great deal about maximizing production values for
each situation ranging from highly choreographed, finely lit dolly shots to hand-held documentary work.
Today's market demands the flexibility to use many formats. I now own a Sony XDCam EX HD camera- the PMW350.
It is a full size 2/3" Cine Alta camera with a fine Angenieux lens and it records to solid state media in a
variety of formats, including PAL. To accompany it, I have a multi-format HD field monitor with waveform that ensures confident
exposure and consistent coloration on whichever format you choose. I continue to get great pictures from my Sony D-50 dockable
camcorder which is 16:9 and 4:3 switchable and will record on either a BetaSP or DVCam format back. The packages include many
camera accessories (wide angle adapter, mattebox and filters,etc.), a comprehensive portable lighting kit, fluorescent lighting,
audio equipment and video monitors as well as additional lighting and a doorway dolly as needed. I am available with or without
my own gear or can rent to suit your specialized needs. I also provide qualified crew members as needed for each production.
I am located by I-91 and I-90 in western
Massachusetts, within easy range of cities like: Albany,
NY- Hartford, CT- New Haven, CT- Springfield, MA- Worcester, MA- Boston, MA and Providence, RI- as well as areas and attractions like the Berkshires, southern Vermont, Foxwoods,
the Basketball Hall of Fame, UMass, Smith College, Amherst College, Mt. Holyoke College, Bradley Airport, the Connecticut
River and more.
I have extensive travel experience throughout New England, across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico and overseas in Ireland,
the UK, Australia, France, Italy, Sweden, Norway, Holland, Austria, and Bermuda.
